Dr. Mark Jackson
Dr. Mark Jackson is originally from Fort Worth Texas. His lifelong dream was to be a veterinarian. Dr. Jackson attended Texas A&M veterinary school and graduated in 1988. He went to Snyder Texas right after graduation to work in a mixed animal practice. An opportunity came open for him to open a new veterinary practice in Meridian Texas. He opened Bosque County Veterinary Clinic in May 1989 and has practiced here for 27 years. Dr. Jackson enjoys a wide variety of veterinary medicine. He enjoys working on small and large animals. He enjoys learning new procedures.
Dr. Jackson enjoys working in a small town where he can build relationships with his clients. Bosque county has also been a great place to raise a family. Dr. Jackson and his wife Kathy have three children, one grandson and two grandchildren on the way. His oldest daughter Katrina, is an ER nurse. James his oldest son is a Range Specialist for the extension service. His youngest son Jason works for Holt Cat, he has always loved tractors.
If Dr. Jackson is not at the clinic he is probably on the lake fishing or visiting with family. He just got home from his first mission trip. He spent a week in Nicaragua sharing God’s love through veterinary medicine in some very remote villages. He would love to tell you all about his trip.
